Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the PixelBrick website and buy a brick on the PixelBrick Wall. By reserving or paying for a brick you confirm that you have read and accept them, together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
PixelBrick is operated by Tommaso Genuario (ABN 65 464 807 202), “we”, “us”. You can reach us on our Support page or at support@pixelbrickwall.com.
2. The Wall and bricks
The Wall is a virtual grid of 1,000 × 1,000 pixels (1,000,000 pixels in total). A “brick” is a rectangular area of the Wall in which your logo is displayed. The size of a brick is its width multiplied by its height, in pixels.
What you buy. A brick gives you the right to have your logo, company name, description and website link displayed in that area of the Wall for the period described in section 6. It is not ownership of land, a domain name, an investment, a security or any other asset, and we make no promise that it will increase in value.
3. Reserving and buying a brick
- You choose the size of your brick. We decide its position: it is placed in the first free area of the Wall that fits. Bricks that are already sold or reserved never move or overlap.
- When you continue to payment, the area is reserved for you for about 30 minutes. If payment is not completed in that time, the reservation expires and the area is released.
- A brick is yours only after we receive confirmation of payment from our payment provider. Reserving a brick does not entitle you to it.
- If a payment arrives after the reservation has expired, or the area is no longer available, we do not assign the brick and the payment is refunded to your original payment method.
- Once a brick is sold, its position and size cannot be changed.
4. Price and payment
- The price is 1 Australian dollar (AUD) per pixel plus GST, so the price of a brick is its width × height in AUD, plus GST where applicable. The total, including GST, is shown before you pay.
- Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Your bank may charge currency conversion or other fees.
- GST (10%) is added for customers in Australia and is shown separately on the invoice. A receipt and invoice are sent to the email address you provide.
- You must provide accurate contact details so that we can send your receipt and contact you about your order.
5. Your content
You are responsible for everything you submit: your logo, company name, description and website address (“your content”). You confirm that:
- you own your content or have permission to use it, including any trademarks, and it does not infringe anyone’s rights;
- you are authorised to buy the brick on behalf of the company or brand you name;
- your content is not unlawful, misleading, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent or harmful, and does not promote illegal activity, malware, phishing or scams;
- the website you link to is lawful and safe, and you are responsible for it.
Your content stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, display and reproduce it on the Wall and on PixelBrick pages and previews for as long as your brick is displayed. Uploaded images must be JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF files of up to 5 MB.
6. How long your brick is displayed
Our intention. PixelBrick is designed to stay online permanently, and we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Wall and your brick available for as long as we can. This is a statement of our intention and not a promise that the Wall will never be closed, changed or unavailable.
Minimum Display Period. What we do guarantee is that your brick will be displayed for at least 5 years from the date we confirm your payment (the “Minimum Display Period”).
Technical problems. The website can be unavailable from time to time, for example for maintenance, or because of a failure of our hosting, database or payment providers. If that happens we will work to restore it as quickly as reasonably possible. A temporary interruption is not a closure and, to the extent the law allows, does not entitle you to a refund.
If we close the Wall. We may close the Wall, or stop displaying bricks, only by giving you at least 90 days written notice by email to the address you gave us. If the Wall closes before your Minimum Display Period ends, we will refund the part of the price that relates to the time remaining (the price multiplied by the days remaining and divided by the total days in the Minimum Display Period), unless we have first transferred the Wall to another operator under the paragraph below. Where we can, we will keep a read-only archive of the Wall showing your logo, and we will tell you where to find it.
After the Minimum Display Period. Once your Minimum Display Period has ended, we keep displaying your brick for as long as we operate the Wall, but no refund or compensation is payable because the Wall is closed, changed or unavailable after that date, to the extent the law allows.
If we transfer the Wall. We may transfer the Wall and these terms to another operator, provided that operator agrees in writing to keep displaying your brick for the rest of your Minimum Display Period on terms no less favourable to you.
Changes. We may improve or change how the Wall looks or works, provided your brick stays displayed. If a change we make materially reduces how your brick is displayed, you may ask us for a refund for the remaining Minimum Display Period, calculated as above.
7. Refunds and changes
Your brick is published on the Wall as soon as we confirm your payment. For that reason we do not offer refunds for a change of mind after payment. Before you pay, you can review the size, price and your details, and you can change or abandon the order at any time at no cost.
This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. For example, if your brick is not displayed as you ordered, or there is a major failure in the service we supply, you may be entitled to have the problem fixed, to cancel and receive a refund, or to compensation. To make a claim, use the form on our Refund Policy page, which also explains the reasons, the time limits and how long we take.
If you made a mistake in your details (for example a typing error in your company name or website), contact us. We will correct it free of charge where we reasonably can.
8. Removal and suspension
We may remove or replace your content, or suspend your brick, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms or the law, or if a court or authority requires us to. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable chance to fix the problem first; urgent or unlawful content may be removed immediately. If your content is removed because you broke these terms, we are not required to refund the price, to the extent the law allows. If we remove your content by mistake, we will restore it, or refund the part of the price for the remaining Minimum Display Period if we cannot.
9. Transfer and resale
You may not sell or transfer your brick, or the right to display content on it, without our written consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold. For example, we will normally agree if your company changes its name or is sold with its business. We will then update the displayed details. We do not run a marketplace and are not responsible for any private sale.
10. Our intellectual property
The PixelBrick name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them, other than to use the website as intended.
11. Our responsibility
The Wall is provided as described on this website. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the Wall will attract visitors, traffic or customers to your brick, and we are not responsible for the content of other advertisers’ bricks or of the websites they link to.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those guarantees and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost profit or lost business), and our total liability to you for any claim relating to a brick is limited to the price you paid for it. Where the law permits us to limit our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee, we limit it to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Your logo, company name, website and description are public once you have paid.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you pay for a brick apply to that purchase.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
